Let yourself be tempted by this deep, delicious red-brown nail polish.

Apply pH Bond and Nail Primer if using, followed by your Base Coat, optional Builder Gel, Colour Coat, and Top Coat. Cure each layer under the Gelous UV/LED Gel Nail Lamp for a strong gel manicure that lasts over two weeks!

Coverage: Full coverage.
Tone: A warm medium brown with a pinky-red undertone.
Ingredients: Di-HEMA Trimethylhexyl Dicarbamate, Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate, Bis-Trimethylbenzoyl Phenylphosphine Oxide, Hydroxycyclohexyl Phenyl Ketone, Ferric Oxide Hydrate, May Contain: Colour Pigments.

Beautiful colour but…
It’s a really nice colour, but.. I noticed after applying this polish that some of the nails became uneven after curing (see picture). I did everything according to instructions, and I never had this problem with other Gelous polishes before. What might be the issue?

Love the colour - one of my faves at Gelous. But for some reason it always peels or flakes off. 98% of the other colours I have are totally fine. Just seems like a thicker formula?

We're really sorry to hear about the peeling and flaking issues you've experienced specifically with this colour, especially when all your other Gelous shades are performing perfectly! That's definitely frustrating when you love the colour but can't get the same reliable wear you're used to. You're quite perceptive about the formula - some shades can have slightly different consistencies due to the pigments used to achieve certain colours, and it sounds like Redwood might be behaving differently for you because of this.

Since you mentioned that 98% of your other colours work totally fine, it really does seem like there might be something specific about this particular shade's formulation that isn't playing well with your application routine or nail chemistry. Sometimes thicker formulas can be a bit trickier to work with and may need slightly adjusted application techniques.
