The high quality Gelous Nail File is designed to work perfectly with our Gel Nail Polish with its fine 180 grit side and rough 100 grit side. Use the 180 grit side (fine side) for filing your natural nails to your desired shape, buffing your nails before applying Gelous Gel Nail Polish, buffing your nails after removing Gelous Gel Nail Polish and pushing back your cuticles. Use the 100 grit side (rough side) of the Gelous Nail File for buffing away the shiny seal of the Gelous Top Coat before soaking your nails in nail polish remover when removing your Gelous Gel Nail Polish.
- Read our Application and Removal Guide to see when to use this properly in your gel manicure application and removal.
- As a general rule, if you’re a regular nail filer, you should hold onto your Nail File for no longer than three months. Keeping it any longer can lead to nail damage (as the buffing plates wear down) and a build-up of bacteria on your Nail File.
- Do not use the 100 grit (rough side) of the Gelous Nail File on bare nails.
