Take your manicure out of this world with our dazzling Ice Age Aurora Chrome Powder. This easy-to-apply, highly pigmented Chrome Powder boasts a magical shine and allows for multiple stunning looks with just one product, as each base colour produces a unique colour and effect.
Start by applying and curing Base Coat, optional Colour Coat, and Top Coat. Wipe your nail with a Pure Acetone Wipe, then buff Chrome Powder onto your nail in circular motions. Dust off excess with the Dust Brush, lightly file the underside of the free edge, and finish with two thin coats of Top Coat, curing after each coat.
Within a few hours it chips. Seems like a common complaint. Not worth it. Pictured how it looks after applying it and then going to sleep, no hand use at all!
Hey Hayley,

Thanks again for sharing 💅
Easy to apply and looks great, but the edges chip within a day. I have to keep applying it which is really frustrating. Lucky I have it over a white base coat so it’s not super noticeable, but over any other colour it would be very obvious.
Wanted a metallic nail polish and this is it! This powder gives a silver metallic finish (much stronger than a glaze, so if you want Hailey Beiber nails - this is not it).
I find using the sponge supplied means I apply a lot (too much) of the powder, and end up with a very mirror-like effect, which is not what I wanted. My second attempt, pictured, shows one nail using the sponge, one nail with no chrome, and 2 nails where I tried to wipe some of the powder off with a lint free wipe and acetone and it ended up a pretty colour, but very patchy. The colour coat is Call Me Maybe. Keen to try again using a spare polish brush as suggested in a review below, as I think this powder has a lot of potential, and I love the glazed donut look.
('scuse my application - new user with no skills!)
Pretty good for the glazed donut look! Did it for the first time combining with Swan Lake. Just don’t use the little foam applicator it comes with because pressing it on applies too much product and it turns your nail silver. Brush on a small amount of it using the spare brushes your polishes come with and build it up that way. If you apply too much, don’t sweat it, just remove with nail polish remover and have another go!
