How to Get Started

1. Register at affiliates.gelous.co/register.
2. Once approved, you'll receive your unique discount code.
3. Add your bank account details under Settings > Payout Details > Bank Account to receive your commissions.
4. Start sharing—and earning!

Getting Paid

Commissions are paid monthly on the 20th, directly to your NZ bank account. You can track your sales and earnings anytime through your affiliate dashboard.

Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Effective from the date of your registration. By registering, you agree to the following terms. If you have any questions, reach out to us at content@gelous.co—we're happy to help.

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in the Gelous Affiliate Program ("Program"). By registering at affiliates.gelous.co/register, you agree to be bound by these terms.

The Program is operated by Gelous, a New Zealand-owned DIY gel nail polish brand based in Auckland ("Gelous", "we", "us"). Participation is open to individuals who are active on Instagram and/or TikTok.

2. How the Program Works

Upon approval, you will receive:

• A unique discount code giving your followers 10% off their Gelous order.
• A 5% commission on every sale made using your code.

Commissions are tracked through your affiliate account and paid directly to your nominated bank account. To receive payment, you must add your bank account name and number in your account settings under Settings > Payout Details > Bank Account.

3. Content Requirements

We want your content to feel natural and authentic. If you create content featuring Gelous products, we ask that:

• Any post, Reel, TikTok, or Story featuring Gelous includes the disclosure #ad, as required by NZ and AU advertising standards.
• Gelous content features Gelous products only—no other brands should appear in the same content.

Affiliates who receive a gifted kit or products from Gelous are required to post a minimum of one Reel, one feed post, and one Story featuring those products within 30 days of receipt. The #ad disclosure applies to all such content.

4. Exclusivity

For a period of 5 weeks from the date of your registration (and from the date of any subsequent gifted product received), you agree not to post content featuring or promoting competing nail brands or nail salons.

This applies to posted content only—your personal visits or purchases are not restricted. "Competing nail brands" refers to brands offering gel nail polish or DIY gel nail products. "Nail salons" refers to professional nail services businesses.

This clause does not restrict you from posting about unrelated beauty, lifestyle, or other non-nail content during this period.

5. Code of Conduct

As a Gelous affiliate, you agree to:

• Represent the Gelous brand honestly and in a positive manner.
• Not make false or misleading claims about Gelous products.
• Not use your code in a way that violates the terms of any platform (Instagram, TikTok, or otherwise).
• Not self-purchase using your own discount code.
• Comply with all applicable NZ and AU advertising disclosure laws.

6. Duration & Termination

This agreement is ongoing from your registration date and continues until terminated by either party.

Either party may end the agreement by giving 30 days written notice. Notice can be sent to content@gelous.co.

Gelous reserves the right to terminate your participation immediately and without notice if you:

• Breach any term of this agreement.
• Post content that brings the Gelous brand into disrepute.
• Engage in fraudulent activity related to the Program.

Upon termination, your discount code will be deactivated. Any outstanding commissions earned prior to termination will be paid on the next 20th of the month.

7. Commission & Payments

• Commission is 5% of the net sale value (excluding shipping and taxes) for each order placed using your code.
• Commissions are not earned on returned, cancelled, or fraudulent orders.
• Gelous reserves the right to adjust commission rates with 30 days notice.
• Commissions are paid monthly on the 20th of each month, directly to your nominated NZ bank account. You are responsible for ensuring your payout details are current and accurate.

8. Changes to These Terms

Gelous may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify active affiliates of material changes by email. Continued participation in the Program after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
